Enjoy Golf Without Lower Back Pain | Fitness Exercise for Golfers

Statistics indicate that about 50% of golfers suffer lower back pain during their playing career. The injury may be attributable to fatigue or improperly executed golf swing.

It is an established fact that golf swing places large amounts of stress on the lower back. Over time, without proper care and adequate rest, fatigue sets in leading to the muscles of the lower back “giving up” and injury.

Incorporating structured fitness exercise specifically designed for golfers to improve their muscular endurance, and low-stress golf swing techniques are therefore essential for golfers, both amateurs and professionals.

2010 US PGA Championship Odds | Game Over For Tiger Woods

One cannot deny that these are agonizing times for Tiger Wood. Having plunged to greater depths during last week’s WGC Bridgestone Invitational, golf enthusiasts including his die-hard fans are wondering how he will fare in this week’s US PGA Championship 2010 in Whistling Straits.

2008 PGA champion, Padraig Harrington, believes that nobody is dominating at the moment. Is he inferring to a possible comeback by Woods? Perhaps. After all, who can deny that Woods, who has been the leading golfer of this generation and a 14-time Major winner, cannot reverse those winds of fortune? A lot of mental strength is required, for sure.

Regardless, the event in Whistling Straits is interesting to watch as ninety-seven of the world’s top golfers are competing. The watchword here is UNPREDICTABILITY.
